The only thing both actors shared in common was they belonged to families connected to Bollywood. Where Ajay Devgan’s father Veeru Devgan was an action choreographer while Kajol’s mother Tanushree was a successful actress of her time.
This adorable couple first met on the sets of the film ‘Hulchul’. In between the shooting, both actors admitted their feelings for each other and ultimately commenced their love saga. Since then till today . . . the flame of love is still spreading light in their lives.
Kajol and Ajay tied knot on February 24, 1999 in a very plain, traditional Maharashtrian style wedding ceremony with only close relatives.
They are blessed with two children: daughter Nyasa and son Yug. After wedding and children, Kajol decided to pay focus on family so stayed away from the film industry for some time. She made her comeback with Fanaa and so far has done few films like My name is Khan, We Are Family and recent one being Dilwale.In an interview with Anupan Kher, she confessed that she is back to films due to her daughter Nyasa who wanted her mom to do that makes her happy,”Mom you are here for our happiness but what about your happiness”, said she to Kajol. ” Ajay has recently honored with one of the highest civilian awards Padmshri which made Kajol a proud and happy wife.
