Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a stellar hit with amazing dialogues and performances. But a dialogue regarding a famous Indian brand ‘Roohafza’ has landed the movie in controversy.
According to reports a restraining order was passed by the Delhi High Court on the filmmakers of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (YJHD) from releasing on TV channels due to objectionable dialogues. In the movie Ranbir Kappor tells his mother that the squash ‘Roohafza’ is not tasty.
The manufacturing company Roohafza are irked and have filed a law suit. The court has restrained the release only on TV, the order is not applicable on the theatre version as it has already released. A notice has been issued to the director, producer and dialogue writer. The court hearing starts on July 16, 2013. The brand claims the dialogues will affect the brand image and damage Roohafza’s reputation.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani has joined the 100 crore club and is about to reach the 200 crore mark.
