Christmas Recipe: White brownies and creme brulee

Make a classic white chocolate brownie and some creme brulee this Christmas for your guests and impress them with your cooking skills. It is said that Christmas is a time to try new and exciting things so try our white chocolate take on brownies and some classic creme brulee.

WHITE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE

Ingredients

White chocolate :    200gm
Butter    :        100gm
Sugar:         115gm
Chop walnut:     70gm
Flour:            60gm
Egg:            120gm

METHOD:

Put white chocolate and butter in a bowl and slowly melt it by putting it in boiling water. Let it cool at room temperature.
Put the sugar and egg in one bowl and slowly mix it. Then, put this mixture in the first bowl (white chocolate + butter).
In another bowl, mix walnut and refined flour and later, put it in the first bowl.
Mix it well with the help of hand blender. Then, put the mixture in a baking tray after putting butter paper or silver foil at the base.  Bake the mixture in the oven for around 30 minutes at around 160 degree temperature.

CLASSIC CREME BRULEE

Ingredients
Amul cream                        300gm
Brown sugar                       50gm
Egg yolk                                75gm
Vanila bean                        3gm

 Method

Put the amul cream and vanilla beans in a sauce pan and heat it till the bubbles start coming out. Put it aside and allow it to cool at room temperature. Now, mix the brown sugar and egg yolk in a bowl very slowly in another bowl.When the cream mixture cools down, add the mixture (brown sugar and egg yolk) into it. Mix it well.
Put the mixture in the in ramekin bowl. Now, take the deep tray and fill it with water. Then,  put the ramekin bowl in the water and bake it in the oven for around 45 minutes at 165 temprature.
Make sure that water level of both tray and bowls remain same. Garnish it with chocolate pieces on top and enjoy the delicious brulee.
