Story: Picking on the Indian Pakistani turbulent relationship screenwriter Neeraj Pandey showcases cross-border politics beautifully. The film is loosely inspired from a Spanish film “Seres Queridos” with a desi tadka.
It’s one evening in the family’s history as Ali Zafar as the bewildered Pakistani boyfriend of Asha (Yami Gautam) goes to meet her mother (Kirron Kher). And as events unfold, so does disaster!
Music: Total Siyapaa sees Ali Zafar as singer, composer, lyricist and lead actor again. The title track, Total Siyapaa, is a quirky fun number with humorous lyrics. Palat meri jaan is a sweet romantic number. The album concludes with Baba Bulleh Shah’s, Chal Buleyah an amazing song!
