Ahh the need to get that perfect red lipstick! I have gone through so many brands from Diana of London to Miss Claire on the lookout for my perfect red lipstick. Did I mention it has to be matte, non transferring, should stay for hours and look perfect on me? Well the search ended a few weeks back when I went to Select Citywalk and while browsing Inglot found this beautiful red matte lipstick. I have been using it and here’s my take on Inglot Matte Lipstick 408:
Price: 900 INR
Claims: Matte moisturising formula with Vitamin E, avocado oil, macadamia oil. Solid and elegant metal case. Paraben free formula.
Packaging: The Inglot Matte Lipstick 408 comes in a black, shiny and classic metal square. It is so pretty and class to look at. The best part is that when you shut the lipstick it makes a click sound that ensures its closed properly.
Pros of Inglot Matte Lipstick 408:
This red is quite similar to MAC Ruby Woo and a must for women who cant seem to find it.
Inglot Matte Lipstick 408 is a blue toned red with slight yellow undertones but it will not highlight yellowness in teeth.
Highly pigmented and a must for red matte lipstick lovers.
Travel friendly tube, as it doesn’t open quickly.
Would best suit light to medium Indian skin tones.
Has amazing staying power, you will need a makeup remover to make sure it is removed. It doesn’t bleed or lighten even after meals.
While I love the soft bubblegum fragrance the lipstick has, which fades after application. It can be a problem for some.
Cons of Inglot Matte Lipstick 408:
The biggest problem is that it is beyond dry .Inglot Mattes are known to be dry but you need to tug it to apply evenly and I believe that will be a problem with dry or chapped lips.
