Sophie may have put up a brave face after her previous act on Jhalak but few people realise just how badly hurt she was! When the background dancer missed his cue, causing Sophie to fall, not only did she get hit on the spine but her previous spasm came back full force. The actor/singer was told to rest for a few days but since the Jhalak stars had to prepare 3 acts this week there was no time to take off. Add to that the switch in choreographers and the beautiful actor/singer had a very tough week on Jhalak.
We hear that this week Sophie’s performance was themed around the act of denial – when one can’t accept the fact that a loved one has died. All 3 judges praised her emotions in the act and the fact the she tried her best with a new style and new choreographer Jack but they are used to Sophie putting up larger than life acts. The journey of Jhalak is full of ups and downs and Sophie has continuously managed to wow the audience and judges with her amazing performances. Here’s hoping she recovers fast and comes back with a bang because she is definitely a reason to watch Jhalak this season!
