Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who represents the cosmetic giant L’oreal for the past 15 years chose an off-shoulder embroidered gown from Rami Kadi’s capsule collection called ‘May Blossom’ for the last day of prestigious Cannes film festival. She walked in a lavender colored gown but what everyone’s eyes caught instead is her ghastly purple lips. Yes, social media is full of Ash jokes because she took the biggest fashion risk at Cannes and failed miserably. In broad daylight, everyone’s focus was on the mismatched makeup of her eyes and the lips. They weren’t synced at all. Dark brown eye shadows highlighted her lavender lips in an absolutely unappealing way. Ok, for a second let’s forget the lip colour but how can someone ignore the dryness of lips at such prominent international platform.

Well, we must say that it takes guts to don this look before the judgmental eyes of the world.

After this, she appeared like a glow worm in the red carpet wearing a beaded and embellished Ali Younes gown. This golden gown with cape attached was styled with a beautiful golden belt. But turquoise blue eye liner and eye shadow smashed the show. The 42 year old experimented with reverse smoky eyes which was absolutely a horror show for all.
Later for Sarabjit’s press conference and screening, she donned a Rohit Bal collection in golden and brown. This heavily embellished floor sweeping bandhgala jacket was teamed with necklace by Deepa Gurnani and footwear from Nicolas Kirkwood. Highlighted her weight in a not so nice fashion. Thankfully, she kept nude lips and smokey grey eyes to lower the heaviness.

Next in the row comes a gold lace gown with embellished bodice by Elie Saab and she undoubtedly stunned the red carpet with gorgeously beaded dress from 2014 couture collection. She paired her dress with rose gold jewelry from Boucheron, Ferragamo’s shoes and a Pure Brick lip shade from the L’Oréal Paris Pure Reds collection, her hair done in a classic old Hollywood style.
