Also called as hay fever, there is no getting over it with a course of strong medication, so we asked the doctor how to control it. While there’s no solid cure which can treat you but here are ways to reduce or prevent the allergies:

Consult your doctor, treating with OTC medication is a bad idea because each allergy has a different drug to help curb it.

Put your room well and try to keep it closed. Try switching on the air purifier, humidifier and air conditioner to monitor the room and the pollen in it.

Try to stay indoor when you see too much pollen in the air or if it is dusty outside.

Keep your house clean, clean nooks and corners, bookshelves, to the tops of almirahs where dust usually resides.

Consider taking a shower before bed, if that is when you tend to feel ill. As your body transfers allergens to your bed and pillow which can make the illness last way longer.

Water is the key to reduce the allergy as water hydrates the system and is a natural cleansing system.

Pick green tea, herbal teas, ginger masala tea as they contain natural antihistamines which helps reduce allergy symptoms.
