The government has banned condom Ads:
As per the latest advisory issued the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry banned, all condom ads between 6 AM to 10 PM. The reason given by them was that they think the advertisements are vulgar, offensive, filthy and inappropriate for kids. According to them, they can create unhealthy practices among kids. (yeah! like safe sex)
As expected the news created a lot of buzz on social media. Many people slammed the government and others questioned I&B minister Smriti Irani and said that banning was not a solution and government must come up with a plan to regulate and change guidelines.
