Karl Lagerfeld’s cat gets his fortune

Chanel lost its iconic couturier Karl Lagerfeld:

The fashion industry is in a state of shock and mourning the death of Karl Lagerfeld, who was an iconic name in the industry for over 40 years. The German designer was a creative director for Chanel and Fendi as well as his own eponymous international fashion label. He was in his 80’s and he died on Tuesday in Paris.

Lagerfeld was one of the most hardworking figures in the fashion world, he served the top design jobs at Fendi from 1977, and Paris’ family-owned power-house Chanel in 1983. In order to fit into the latest slimline fashions, he lost a lot of weight in his 60’s.

Lagerfeld had a cate named Choupette after his death the cat gets his fortune:

Alain Wertheimer CEO of Chanel, on Karl Lagerfeld’s, said: “Today, not only have I lost a friend, but we have all lost an extraordinarily creative mind to whom I gave carte blanche in the early 1980s to reinvent the brand.” He further added: “Thanks to his creative genius, generosity and exceptional intuition, Karl Lagerfeld was ahead of his time, which widely contributed to the House of Chanel’s success throughout the world,”

Not only does the fashion industry, but the celebrities also mourned his death. kim kardashian, Victoria Beckham, and Donatella Versace and others have taken to social media to pay tribute to the legendary designer.
