The most awaited wedding of the year has finally taken place. Akash Ambani son of Mukesh Ambani tied the knot with Shloka Mehta daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta. The wedding ceremony took place at Jio World Complex in Mumbai. After the wedding of Isha Ambani, the expectation for this was higher and it was indeed the lavish and grand wedding we have ever seen.
In the Barat Bollywood composers, Vishal and Shekhar performed, and Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt along with Nita Ambani danced. The main highlight of the wedding was a musical fountain-cum-dance show, which includes aerial acts, signifying asymmetry between water, earth, and sky.
At the wedding, Akash Ambani looked dashing in a pink sherwani and the bride Shloka wore a red and golden lehenga designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Nita Ambani and Isha Ambani also wore outfits from the same designer.

From Bollywood celebrities, industrialists to politicians everyone graced the wedding ceremony. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with the Bachchan family, Jhanvi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and others were seen at the wedding. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Superstar Rajnikanth were also present. The guest was long with a lot of celebrities in attendance.
After the wedding a grand reception also took place at the same venue.
