PM Narendra Modi turns 69 on September 17:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi always celebrates his birthday in a unique way and along with him, the entire nation celebrates his special day. Last year he went to his mother Heeraba to take blessings and, also hosted a special dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping in Ahmedabad on his 64th birthday.
However, this year his plans are little different as, he will be starting his day by celebrating the water level in the Sardar Sarovar Dam at Kevadiya in Narmada district. Apart from this, he will celebrate his 69th birthday in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi and will spend the day with children with disabilities.
The Bhartiya Janta Party will be seen engaging in ‘Seva Saptah’ (service week) from September 14 to 20 for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always said that people become public representatives to serve the people. What better way to celebrate day but to spend the day with people. We have been organising different ways to help the people. We have distributed medicines, fruits in hospitals, gave sanitary napkins to young girls in schools and met people to stop using single use plastic,” said Meenakshi Lekhi, MP and national spokesperson of BJP.
Various exhibitions will also be held at different places to showcase the hard work PM Modi has done for the nation.
