People are not interested in robbing jewelry or other commodities but have been stealing toilet papers, masks and sanitizers to protect themselves from contracting the infection.

Here is a brief list of things that have changed since the outbreak of Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Economic set back

Canceled shows, meetings, and even global summits have made companies and even countries suffered on a global level which has impacted their economic growth.

Early deaths

Unanticipated death of loved ones across countries is the reason why people are suffering from emotional trauma and are still grieving.

Shortage of commodities globally

Borders across the world have been tightly sealed and the transportation of products through countries has become restricted. This is to control the widespread of the virus.

Strained healthcare system

Since the number of patients has increased and they also have to be isolated in order to contain the infection, more resources are required than usual which has caused health care systems to suffer.

Travel and tourism industry has taken a hit

People are not being allowed to travel from one country to another and even the visas are being canceled. The growth of the travel and tourism industry has ceased and things won’t get better until a permanent cure is figured.

Improved Environmental conditions

Since there are fewer cars on the road and people are traveling less, CO2 emissions have reduced a bit.

Increased anxiety in people

People are living under the fear of contracting this deadly infection which takes a few days to show symptoms. Living under constant tension and avoiding contact with people who have been tested positive is becoming a major reason for increased anxiety in people.

Disrupted schedule

With an increased demand for remote workers and schools closing up for weeks, there has been a change in the schedule of people and the work has suffered too.
