Olive oil and dish soap
This is one of the most common DIY cleansers that you can make at home. Combine equal parts of olive oil and dish soap in a container and mix it well. After that, dip your makeup brush into the mixture and lather well. Rinse it under the water and leave it to air dry.
Antibacterial cleanser
Take 2 parts of an antibacterial liquid soap of your choice and one part of olive oil. Mix the two together and whisk them well. Use this mixture to clean your brushes
Daily use spray cleanser
If you have isopropyl alcohol at home then you can make this spray cleanser at home. Pour 148ml of isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle along with 59 ml of distilled water and 10-15 drops of your preferred essential oil. Shake the solution before use. Spray this cleanser on your makeup brush and wipe it off with a towel.
