Check out the reaction of people on this man’s INR50K alcohol bill:
Recently, when the liquor shops were reopened during the lockdown, the people forgot everything and were on roads to buy it. They were also seen forgetting basic social distancing methods. In shocking news, a person in Bengaluru shopped for alcohol worth INR 52,841 to stock up his bar during this time.

I mean, that is a whole lot of money. Not being cheap, but it is even more than my current salary and I don’t even have alcohol to drown in sorrow.

But as per the reports, the Karnataka excise department has reported a case against the owner of the wine shop for selling more liquor than permitted by the law.
Bengaluru’s South Excise Deputy Commissioner A. Giri who’s investigating this incident revealed:
Preliminary investigation revealed that 17.4 liters of IML was sold against the permissible limit of 2.3 liters and 35.1 liters of beer against the legal limit of 18.2 liters.

There is a limit for how much a person can buy, I don’t think they would be allowed to buy for so much.

The shop owner has claimed that the liquor was purchased by a group of seven people; still, it is too much money to spend on alcohol these days.
