Twitter celebrates as web series “Delhi Crime” won International Emmy Award For Best Drama:
Directed by Richie Mehta web series Delhi Crime starring Shefali Shah in the lead role and just became the first Hindi-language show to win an International Emmy. The show is based on the horrific 2021 Nirbhaya Delhi gangrape case, it just won the award for the Best Drama Series. Other nominees in the category included The Bronze Garden (Argentina), Charité (Germany), and Criminal: UK (United Kingdom).
Hrithik Roshan was the first celeb to congratulate the team, stars such as Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh also congratulated:
