A recent study shows shocking results that impotence is emerging as the main cause for divorces in India. About 20 to 30 per cent marriages in India break up due to lack of sexual satisfaction.

The study was conducted by Alpha One Andrology Group, an association of doctors dealing in sex-related problems in men, they tested about 2,500 Indian men suffering from erectile dysfunction. According to them erectile dysfunction affects almost 50 per cent of men over the age of 40.The study also found that on average married couples have sex 58 times a year but doctors warn that if the numbers are even below this it could be due to ‘problems’.

Sexual impotence is becoming a common problem in Indian metropolitan couples due to sedentary lifestyle, hypertension and busy schedule.
