Check out what is White Lung Syndrome:
Following the emergence of mystery pneumonia in China’s pediatric community, a comparable ailment has been causing an increase in child hospitalizations in Ohio, United States. When examining X-ray or CT scans of the lungs, it’s essential to note that they typically appear black, indicating the presence of air. However, when inflammation or fluid collection occurs, restricting the air sacs, the lungs may appear white on the scans. This change in coloration could be a result of either bacterial or viral infections.

This bacterial infection manifests as white patches in lung scans. It’s important to clarify that the appearance of white patches in lung X-rays is not exclusive to this phenomenon but can also occur during various respiratory challenges, including battling the flu.
