Maybelline Colour Tattoo was launched in the US about a year back and I desperately waited for its launch in India. Around August last year Maybelline Colour Tattoo hit the Indian market and my eye makeup regime has changed since!
I brought the Bad To The Bronze shade as it is a golden coppery shade which will suit Indian skin tone and eyes.
Claims: 24hr intensity. Tattoo tenacity. Dare to wear our longest-lasting shadow. Our ink technology creates super-saturated color. Cream gel smoothes on for vibrant color that does not fade. In 8 shades.
Packaging: The cream based eye shadow comes in a small glass pot with a plastic lid. I also got a free application brush along with it.
Price: Maybelline Colour Tattoo is priced at 350 INR for 4g.
Pros: I always wanted a cream based eye shadow that would stay on my oily eyelids. Maybelline Colour Tattoo seemed the perfect choice and I have been using it for a solid 6 months now.
The Maybelline Colour Tattoo does not smudge or crease. But the 24 hour intensity and longest lasting claim is not true. On my lids it stays for about 6 hours after which it starts slipping.
• The Maybelline Colour Tattoo is amazing to work with. Just apply some with your fingertip and wash all over the lid for quick eye makeup.
• The colour looks amazing on all skin tones and goes well with ethnic clothes.
· It is easily available.
Cons: It has a creamy formulation but you have to be quick about spreading it.
• The brush is useless and does not pick up any Maybelline Colour Tattoo.
Rating: 3.5/5. I love this product to create a everyday work look but it does not live up to its long lasting claims.
Love it or hate it, I definitely use it a lot. Have you had a better experience with Maybelline Colour Tattoo?
