Vidya Balan arrived at the Cannes film festival in her true blue desi style. The actress was seen wearing a long anarkali which we presume is a Sabyasachi.
The anarkali was an ankle length one in deep maroon colour with black and gold embroidery. The look works except we would have preferred a lighter colour. To offset the anarkali, the newly married Vidya carried a classic oval watch and some gorgeous silver jhumkis. She carried a potli handbag made of the same embroidery. Her makeup was perfect for daytime with a light foundation, grey eyeliner and eye shadow, a neutral lip shade. Vidya loves her bindis and she added a small black one to highlight her forehead and eyes. Vidya opted for simple center parted hair, which we think looked too greasy.
This is the first time Vidya Balan will make an appearance at the international film festival.
