Recently Parineeti wowed everyone with her perfect curves. She talked about her journey from flab to fab. Parineeti Chopra’s critics often make a crack about her weight and she has braved fat shaming, even while winning accolades for her performances.
Parineeti told Mumbai Mirror that she agreed with the bricbrats, “They were absolutely right and there’s no doubt about that. They said that I needed to lose weight and I agreed with them. Since I took time to work on my weight loss, people mistook it. They felt I didn’t care about it and that I was okay with my size.”
Parineeti Chopra’s fist advice is to sleep more! “When you don’t get enough sleep, you look bloated. When you don’t workout, you put on weight and when you rely on food that’s available at film sets, you certainly put on weight,” she says.
Like many of us Pari admits that she could never stick to the boring weights and cardio routine at the gym and I began learning the martial arts form called Kalaripayattu from Kerala. This new regimen has given the actress newfound flexibility and strength.
Her advice for those trying to beat the bulge would be to have a flexible workout plan, even while being disciplined and tracking one’s diet. And though burning fat doesn’t always require a daily workout, Parineeti insists on working out rigourously at least 2-3 days a week.
Being a compulsive foodie, Parineeti feels the only way she could stick to a diet is by occasionally cheating on it. And the secret behind not missing any of the treats she loves is simple she never stopped eating them. “The moment I start missing it, I will binge eat. You must tell your mind that every thing is available to you and you can eat what you want. But if I have pizza for lunch, I will go healthy for dinner and cut back the next few days. But having said that, if there are things which have excess sugar or are deeply fried and are of no nutritional value, then I won’t have it.”
