A study highlights that women underestimate their weight and often think of themselves as thinner.
In a research done by a Health and Social care centre, most women underestimate their weight by almost 2.5 kgs! The study also highlighted that this gap in perception is more in the ages 35-39. Men also underestimate their weight but only by a kilo. Parents especially mothers find their obese children ‘about the right weight.’ This happens because many women think they are slimmer than they actually are.
The study also highlighted that people can guess their heights better than their weights.
