This food festival will bring back your college memories
Remember those college days when sweet tea, rusks and Maggie were life? Well, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in Delhi is giving you a chance to relive those beautiful college days with this special fiesta. Café Knosh is hosting a Back to University food festival and you will get to eat all your college favorites from Maggie to anda bread to samosa.
What makes it even more special is that the meticulous planning of getting the right flavour from famous DU North campus hangouts, from the ever popular Chole Bhature to delicious South Indian food. The chole bhature deserve a special mention all thanks to the great yet basic flavours much like we were used to in college times. The chicken roll was beyond perfect, I remember grabbing one in college on most days as lunch and it brought back some great memories.
To get the perfect flavours the chef along with a team went and tried college food in various colleges of DU. The menu was totally similar to canteen menu at most colleges from Rajma rice, Kadhi rice, samosa and vegetable chowmein with lot more options.
Ambiance: The Leela Ambience Convention did a special effort to get the ambiance right From a rickety old scooter to a bus stop, they truly take you back in your college time. The Café is divided into sections with classrooms, canteen and a hang out zone. They even have live chai thella, symbolizing the epic chai pe charcha sessions we all had in college. The tables are decorated with graduation hats and books and give you the perfect college feels!
