Why you must visit the International Barbeque festival at The Leela Ambience Convention Center
The Leela in East Delhi is probably the most undermined hotel. Most people do not explore its beautiful food, but one you do, you are a regular. I have often gone to their café Knosh for delectable coffee and cakes. The Indian variant Delhi 32 too has lip smacking, near perfect desi food. When Café Knosh started an international Barbecue festival I made a point to visit over the weekend.
Set up in an open area, with old school red umbrellas and wooden tables, the festival gives the feel of an high end Barbecue party!Sit under the umbrellas, soak up some sun, enjoy a beer and get ready for an awesome barbecue journey.
The barbecue sections are divided into four sections: the European section which has grilled sausages and meats. The must have in this section are the super cheesy loaded potatoes, eggplant schiztel and bratwurst sausages. The flavours of the food are subtle and the meats well cooked.
My favourite was the Asian section. The asparagus and bacon, barbecue pork chops and the tofu are not to be missed in this section. The Indian section boasted of different flavours with tandoori bater being a must try dish.
The food truck serves hotdogs, burgers and encaptures the essence of American grills.
What makes this deal a bigger steal is that the food is accompanied by a lot of side dishes for a complete experience!
There is an unlimited beer accompaniment to make it tastier a deal! The salad, cheese buffet and a dessert counter add to the charm.
