If you follow Team AAW on social media you must be aware that Saturday evening we spent a great time at The Darzi Bar and Kitchen’s launch bash. Located in the heart of city, Connaught Place this new kid on the block offers a lavish selection of Indian Fusion, progressive Indian and European cuisine.
The interiors of the place goes well with name Darzi, as you enter the staircase, a big scissor on the wall instantly catches your attention. It is divided into two floors and even has an open air seating. Both the floors are done up quite well with sewing machines, thread rolls and other interesting knick knacks which goes well with the theme.
On the launch Mr. Abhishek Trehan, Partner of The Darzi Bar and Kitchen explained the concept of The Darzi Bar and Kitchen which according to him is offering tailor made cocktails and handcrafted gourmet food. Master Chef Master who is also a part of this venture added that “Tailor-made food and beverages are for your belly as clothes are tailor made for the body. This is the essence of The Darzi Bar and Kitchen. Of course not to miss out on the whole ambience which too is tailor made!!”
The launch was a musical one with live performance by singer Jasbir Jassi , yesteryear actor Chandrachur Singh and an amazing DJ who made the crowd groove on his beats.
Master Chef contestants Ashish Singh, Mirvaan Vinayak, Siddharth Talwar, Dinesh , Anupama Verma, Shikha Swaroop amd Chef Sabyasachi Gorai were also present at the launch. Overall it was a great evening, we clicked many selfies and had some nice appetizers too because of which we are really looking forward for it.
