Go visit this beautiful festival that celebrates death, life and hope

The Tuen Ng or Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated in China it celebrates an ancient festival that started when a Chinese minister drowned and the local people threw rice balls in the river to save his body from the fish. Dragon boat is a unique tradition which over the years has got its own special menu.

In Delhi only a few places celebrate this festival with local Chinese delicacies that are made with rice. Chef Tenzin Losel at Empress Of China, Eros Hotel has curated an exclusive menu to showcase a selection of traditional and authentic Chinese dishes.

While we got to experience a special nook at the Empress of China with a dreamy outdoor setup Lotus temple and the metro as a backdrop, we were ready for a night of beautiful food. The carefully crafted menu features a variety of Zongzi selection of food from melt in your mouth Dan Jiao Egg Dumplings, Steamed Crispy Duck Rolls, among others. We loved the starters and the duck roll was a big hit.

The main course too has a staple of Chinese rice dumplings stuffed with chicken and vegetables. There is a lot of seafood too.
