This Navratri give the traditional food an international makeover. Make this yummy kuttu pancakes and serve with fruits.
Ingredients
1.5 cups buckwheat flour (kuttu atta)
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt (sendha namak)
3 tbsp white butter
2 cups buttermilk
Some oil
Method:
1 Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat.
2 Mix together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt) in a large bowl.
3 Add melted butter over the dry ingredients and start stirring. Add the butter milk. Stir until everything is combined. Do not overmix.
4 Put a half a teaspoon of oil on the pan. Ladle the batter onto the hot surface, around 5 inches wide.
5 Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the pancake to cook for 2-3 minutes on one first side then flip the pancake.
6 Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream and a large serving of fruits!
