Chocolate cupcakes are a favourite with everyone! This Father’s Day make some chocolate cupcakes for your dad, and if your kids are young help them bake a batch. Kids always feel immense pride in creating something for their loved ones. So help your little one bake some love this Father’s Day:
Ingredients
½ cup butter (melted)
1 cup sugar (powdered)
1½ cups milk
3 eggs
2 cups flour
¾ cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
For garnish: Get sprinkles, chocolate bits and some whipped cream. Let your kids get creative.
Instructions:
- Set the oven to preheat at 350 degrees.
- In a mixer combine melted butter and sugar by blending on medium speed. Add eggs and mix until it forms a smooth paste. Add milk, vanilla and mix.
- In another bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Now add the dry ingredients to the mixer (wet ingredients) spoon by spoon while mixer is at low speed.
- Arrange cupcake liners in cupcake pan.
- Fill each cupcake with batter till it is about 2/3rd full.
- Bake cupcakes for 15 minutes.
- Cool completely and let your kids decorate the cupcakes with love and present it to their father. Or put some whipped cream and gift them to your dad this Father’s Day.
