Teej is approaching and getting henna done on the hands is a tradition. But aren’t we all bored of the same mehendi designs? Well let’s get different and check out these henna designs.
Teej much like Karvachauth is fasting for your husband. In many parts of India women observe fast for their husband for marital bliss. To celebrate Teej women get a gift from their in-laws which is a traditional gift package ‘Shrinjhara’ (from the Hindi word shringaar) which contains adornment a married women must use. Often heena is a part of the shringaar.
PS white heena is a rage outside India, it is temporary but looks glamorous. We suggest trying it on once at least.
