For Indian skin tones shades of pink lip stain work better than blood red ones. Personally I always ditch lipcolours and blushes and carry a stain instead. Not only its easier to carry, it lasts way longer than blushes and lipsticks.
Kohl: No Indian woman can live or like a no-kohl look! The best way is to buy a smaller size (Sephora does a cute nano version) or simply keep your old one in the bag and buy a new one for home. If you keep only one Kohl you will forget to carry it, buy a budget priced one like Lakme eyeconic, so that even if it is misplaced, it won’t hurt your pocket.
Blotting paper: Indian summers are terrible and often many of us sweat which makes the skin oily. Now instead of washing it or using a face wipe that will clean all the makeup, pick up blotting paper. Just slide a sheet or two in your bag. Dab the sheet for an oil-free face that will last hours. Oriflame makes good blotting sheets but you could also try using butter paper!
BB Cream: BB cream has certainly changed many a makeup routine. Gone are the powders, foundations and concealers. This product does et all and gives you flawless skin. You can try a budget one like Garnier or a high-end one from Sephora.
