Baking soda is alkaline in nature and helps soften the sebum and debris on the face. It removes dirt, pollution and dead skin cells from the face and makes it glowing. It also clears the open pores and absorbs excess oil. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda in water and make a thick mixture. Apply the mixture to your face and rinse with water.

Brighten Complexion
A face wash containing baking soda can help brighten your skin. Baking soda mixed in lemon juice helps in this process. Baking soda exfoliates the top layer of dark skin and lemon prevent the formation of skin darkening pigment. Simply add some baking soda to lemon juice and olive oil. Apply it to your skin and rinse after 10 minutes. PS do a patch test beforehand.
