Pimples are the most common and annoying skin trouble we all face, especially during adolescence. A pimple starts when the pores in the skin become clogged with oil. Our skin has many oil-producing glands on the forehead, nose, and chin (also called the T-zone) it’s where a person is most prone to pimples. We at Aaw understand that having pimples on face can be very embarrassing, so here are few easy and simple ways treat pimples.
No Scrubbing: Don’t scrub the face. Gently wash it with warm water and mild soap for acne. Massage in circular motion but be cautions because over washing can cause irritation and redness.
Don’t experiment: Stick to a dermatologist recommended cream and soap. Don’t get fascinated with the abundant variety available in the market.
Don’t touch: Avoid touching your face with fingers or leaning your face on objects that collect sebum and skin residue like your phone. Touching your face can spread the bacteria that cause pores to become inflamed and irritated.
Never pop: We understand that one gets tempted to pop those ugly zits but the fact is that popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling & redness and in the long run it can lead to scarring!
Clean the face properly: Before going to bed clean the face properly to get rid of the makeup, dust and oil on the face.
Drink lots of water: Drink lots of water as it helps in purifying your body and will protect you against the pimples. Also eat healthy diet rich in Vitamin C and vitamin E as they are very good for your skin.
