Pachouli Spa & Wellness Destination has launched and introduced “Hair Freezing Iron” Now you must be wondering what is hair freezing iron all about? Well it’s a path breaking Korean technology which provides solution to the problems that are caused during hair straightening or any other hair treatments we subject our hair to. It brings a sheen and shine to your hair and helps close the hair cuticles with a freezing iron.
How it works?
The machine will get to freezing temperatures with-in seconds and the special flat iron will help close the hair cuticle to make hair shiny and soft.
How is it done?
The therapy takes around 1.5 hours and includes a total of five steps. Like every other treatment it begins with washing hair properly followed with applying hair wax on the hair and not on scalp. After this the wax is sealed with infrared rays and most importantly the freezing iron(it looks like a normal flat iron but is freezing. In the machine ice cubes are added to get the freezing temperature and and you could actually see ice particles on hair. Finally the process ends with the head wash followed by cold blow dry as it is suggested not to apply heat for sometime after the freezing
hair therapy.
Talking more about this therapy beautiful Preeti Seth, co-founder Patchouli told us that instead of wax you can get the treatment done with serum, coconut milk, protein cream or anything you want your hair to absorb. She further added that each sessions helps close atleast 10 to 15% of hair cuticles.
Results
The hair becomes soft and smooth.Since its not a hot iron so don’t expect your hair to become straight after the session.If your hair are very dry and damaged then you might have to take a few extra sessions to see the results and to close your hair cuticles completely.

4. To retain the moisture & water content in hair, freezing iron is very beneficial. It locks the cuticle thereby the hair keeps the nutrition and water for longer duration and protein gets locked inside the hair as well.
5. One must use freezing iron in case hairs are exposed to alkali or alkaline serums or shampoos, in these cases also freezing is given to lock the cuticles again to maintain it.
