Recently Team AAW was invited for the unveiling of mask making machine by Sea Souls cosmetics at Metropolitan Hotel & Spa .When I read mask masking machine the first thing that came to mind was a pulp making machine but when I reached and saw it I was stunned.
Manisha Chopra – Founder of SeaSoul Cosmeceuticals demonstrated the process of mask making(we posted the videos on facebook too) by making different face mask using variety of fruits, honey , green tea and two collagen tablets which are a must. She also shared how much her family loves this machine, ” My kids ask me everyday mummy which mask are we making today and they get me different fruits to make a mask for them,”, said she. She further explained the do’s and don’ts of the machine and told about its cleaning process too.
The machine comes with a handy recipe book for all sorts of concoctions to create something which suits each skin type -be it oily, dry, acne-prone, pigmented, blemished, flaky or ageing.
The mask making machine just takes six minutes to make the mask and further six minutes to clean the machine automatically. To prove the effectiveness of the fresh fruit masks everyone attending the event were given a face mask prepared according to their skin type to carry back home and use. I wanted an instant glow so mine was a mix of tomatoes, honey , lemon and green tea. When I asked Manisha about the shelf life of the mask she said 24 hours as she hasn’t used beyond it but asked me to do so and share the results.
This machine is for professional use and is currently being used across a vast spectrum of salons in south India and is budding to grow into the rest of the Indian subcontinent too. The good news is that they are soon planning to launch a smaller version of it too for domestic use. Well I am really looking forward for it so that I can easily make my own fresh fruit mask at home for a glowing skin free minus the chemicals.
