The all new season of swayamvar is here after a hiatus of more than a year. This season stars the saucy Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat. After the last debacle of swayamvar season which flopped miserably due to Ratan Rajput, the producers roped in Veena Malik. But much before the Pakistani import could come on TV the channel shut! Now a bigger star has replaced all TV starlets and Mallika is leaving no stone unturned to ensure she finds her life partner.

The costumes: Costumes in any swayamvar season are amazing and the best bridal finery is often found on these shows. In fact from Rakhi to Ratan girls have always got a traditional desi designer wardrobe. It helps keep a tab on trends and what will suit you. You can always take inspiration and get one stitched from your local boutique. The hair, makeup, jewellery is another thing you should keep a tab on.
Malika’s demure virgin act: Much like Rakhi, Mallika is also behaving in a weird manner. Her tone is all low and husky. She is trying to act shy and demure, something which doesn’t suit the kissing queen. It is like Mallika Sherawat has got a personality implant before entering the show and her act seems badly inspired from the telly bahus! We mean if she is here for the real deal, why not behave normally and let a guy choose you.
The funny men: We really would like to know how men for such shows are selected. We mean Mallika can easily bag a rich man but they will bring weird contrasts on the show. The kind of men who seem to lech at the actress, in fact it seems Mallika has to select the bad one from the worst lot! Most of these men we believe are here to seek publicity and boost their career. Some of them will fight amongst themselves; in the rushes we all have seen one guy accusing Mallika of locking her eyes with another guy. Cheap thrills!
Amazing date ideas: As a die hard romantic I often find the date ideas on swayamvar. refreshingly different. Though I cannot afford a balloon ride (like Rahul Mahajan’s swaymavar) but definitely steal a few quite date and gift ideas from here. So need to know how to impress your girlfriend/boyfriend tune into Bachelorette India.
The finale: Now the finale always has a twist, but we really want to see if Mallika will go ahead and get hitched like Rahul Mahajan or have a long engagement like Rakhi and Ratan. Both of whom later broke their engagements.
