Sleepy Hollow: Latest venture by the 20th Century Fox Television is the Horror/ Drama series Sleepy Hollow. The plot retells a modern version of the 1820 short story by Washington Irving called as the “The legend of Sleepy Hollow”.
Season 1 of the series came up with 13 episodes and the series has officially been renewed for a second season. The plot revolves around Ichabod Crane, played by Tom Mison, who rises from his grave after two centuries to fight the evil and the fast-approaching apocalypse with the help of Lt. Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie. This new show is definitely worth a watch if you love to see the 18th century Crane adjusting to the 20th century America.
Witches of East End: Based on the book by Melissa de la Cruz, Witches of East End follows the supernatural drama genre. The series has Julia Ormond playing the lead character of Joanna Beauchamp along with Jenna Dewan Tatum and Rachel Boston playing the roles of Freya and Ingrid respectively, the two daughters of Joanna Beauchamp. The series follows the lives of the Beauchamp family of witches and provides its viewers a sufficient dose of fun, romance and magic!
Devious Maids: For the comedy drama lovers, Devious Maids is the show to see. The show follows the life of five Latina maids and their employers in the posh neighbourhood of Beverly Hills. With the fun and drama involved, mystery is introduced in the series with the murder of a maid and the process that follows to uncover the truth behind her death. The show stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Judy Reyes and Edy Ganem in the lead roles.
The Originals: A fantasy supernatural drama, The Originals, is a spin-off from the popular series The Vampire Diaries. Focusing on the lives of the first ever-original vampires, the Mikaelson family, the series stars Joseph Morgan in the role of Klaus, Daniel Gillies as the honourable vampire, Elijah and Claire Holt as the vampire sister, Rebekah. The plot centers on Klaus unborn baby and his thrist for power in the city of New Orleans, earlier owned by him but now controlled by his protégé Marcel.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Love adventure and are you a hardcore Avengers fan? Then you are in for a treat! As the newest venture by ABC studios is superhero/ sci-fi series based on an organization S.H.I.E.L.D created by Marvel Comics.
Clark Gregg in the role of Agent Phil Coulson forms a team of S.H.I.E.L.D agents who fight together to save the earth from supernatural events that endanger the security of the world.
