An Air India crew member who evacuated the Indian students from Italy was showered with love and praise as she rescued over 200 people from Milan and Rome and brought them back home on Sunday.

The flight landed in Delhi airport and the Captain was Swati Raval along with co-pilot Captain Raja Chauhan. India’s civil aviation minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, praised the crew on Twitter.
Captain Swati Raval also has a 5-year-old child, was praised by PM Modi as well.

The post came up after the crew members of Air India were harassed by their respective neighbors and residents’ welfare associations as they had been to foreign countries in the line of duty.
