Weddings are meant to be grand but in the case of Ambani’s they got to be a grander affair. The pre-wedding festivities of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani have started in full swing. Akash will be tying the knot with his childhood friend, Shloka Mehta, daughter of businessman Russell Mehta.
After hosting a dandiya night at the Ambani residence, Akash Ambani threw a grand bachelor’s party in St Moritz, Switzerland, last weekend and like all things Ambani, this was grand. And the family is all set to host a lavish pre-wedding affair in Switzerland only. Check out the details below:
The Ambanis are hosting a huge bash in St Moritz this Sunday and Monday. The two-day bash will see the Bollywood celebrities in attendance in the resort town. The Ambanis’ close friends are also flying down to Switzerland this weekend for the big fat party ahead of Akash and Shloka’s wedding.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s close friends are also flying to St. Moritz. Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, newlywed Priyanka Chopra is also expected to reach the venue for the party.

The Ambanis are staying at the most expensive 5-star hotel in St Moritz, Badrutt Palace. The hotel overlooks the Alps or the lake. The deluxe room in the hotel costs INR 99,000 and the most expensive room is priced INR 3, 08,939.
While only a few details of venue, the Ambanis will reportedly fly their guests to the luxury Alpine resort town in a private aircraft.
The theme of the event will be winter wonderland. This ‘Winter Wonderland’ will be a fun fair with rides including Ferris Wheel, Bumper Car, a spiral slide and a carousel, The two-day event will take the guests back to their childhood.
After the party, the Ambani’s will return to India for the wedding of Akash and Shloka. The wedding will take place on 9th March at the Jio World Centre in Bandra-Kurla Complex. It will be a three-day affair in Mumbai for guests. After the wedding, there will be a reception for the newlyweds.
