Gangubai Kathiawadi first look is out, Alia Bhatt stuns in the role:
The first posters of Alia Bhatt’s next film Gangubai Kathiawadi are out. The film will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actress plays the titular role of a mafia queen in the film. Alia appears to be seen in a never seen before avatar, she might be playing a brothel owner.
The Twitter handle of Bhansali Productions shared the first look posters: “Strength. Power. Fear! One look, a thousand emotions. Presenting the first look of #GangubaiKathiawadi. In cinemas 11 September 2020.”

The posters show Alia Bhatt in two different looks. In the first look, the actress is seen as a young girl with two pigtails with ribbons. She is seen wearing a blouse and a skirt with bangles on her wrists. A gun can also be seen placed on a table near Alia.
The second poster is a close-up shot of Alia Bhatt. She looks a little matured in a big red bindi. She has her nose pierced and wears a traditional Kathiawadu nose ring. A big choker is also spotted on her neck. Her eyes look beautiful with kajal loaded.
Alia Bhatt also took to social media to share the first look of her character in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Along with the posters, she wrote, “Here she is, Gangubai Kathiawadi.”
The shooting of Gangubai Kathiawadi began last year in December. Alia Bhatt posted a picture of her vanity van which had a Gangubai sticker on it. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Look what Santa gave me this year.”

The film will be releasing on 11th September 2020. Gangubai Kathiawadi is Alia Bhatt’s first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
