In a shocking twist of events Bigg Boss 7 participant Armaan Kohli was arrested by Lonavla police on Monday night. Armaan was arrested for her alleged assault to British-Pakistani actress Sofia Hayat.
However, latest reports say Armaan got a bail from the Pune courts and talks are on to return Armaan to return to the Bigg Boss house.
Sofia Hayat has filed a complaint alleging Kohli of physical abuse during her stay at the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. Kohli was picked up from Bigg Boss house by Lonavala police in connection with this complaint.
On December 11, Sofia post-her eviction from Bigg Boss, had filed an FIR against Kohli alleging that she was manhandled and subjected to unparliamentary language by him. The complaint was followed and an FIR was registered against Armaan Kohli.
Armaan Kohli has been booked under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354 a (sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code, police said.
Armaan had hit Sofia with a broom by chance but his unruly and violent behaviour was a matter of question among all participants.
