Bomb threats target DPS Dwarka, Amity, and numerous other Delhi-NCR schools; search operations underway:
In various locations across Delhi-NCR, including multiple campuses of Delhi Public School, Amity, and Mother Mary’s, at least eight schools received threatening emails of a potential bomb attack on Wednesday morning. As a precautionary measure, authorities are evacuating the schools, with Delhi Police initiating comprehensive search operations on the premises, as informed by officials.
The schools have mobilized a bomb detection unit, bomb disposal team, and a team from the Delhi Fire Service to conduct thorough search operations.
The Union Home Ministry has reassured the public that the threats seem to be a hoax and there is no cause for alarm. “It appears to be a hoax call. Delhi Police and security agencies are taking necessary steps as per protocol,” the government stated.

Delhi Police has disclosed that they are actively working to trace the IP address of the threatening email; however, as of now, they have not been able to determine the sender’s identity or location.
Upon being informed by the local police, the school premises were promptly evacuated. Visuals captured at the schools depicted a scene of parents rushing to collect their children from the premises.
Delhi’s Education Minister, Atishi, has confirmed the situation, stating that as of now, no suspicious items have been discovered in any of the schools.
