#BoycottHrithikRoshan trends on Twitter, here are some tweets:
There is another target in the trend of boycotting Bollywood films, and the recent one is Hrithik Roshan and his film Vikram Vedha. The reason for boycotting is even more bizarre, it started when the actor gave a shout-out to Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in his latest tweet.
In the tweet, he wrote: “Just watched Laal Singh Chaddha. I felt the HEART of this movie. Pluses and minuses aside, this movie is just magnificent. Don’t miss this gem guys! Go! Go now. Watch it. It’s beautiful. Just beautiful.”

Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan became the target of a boycott trend as well after Internet users found out about the film’s writer Kanika Dhillon’s four-year-old tweets. Both Aamir and Akshay reacted to the boycott of their respective films during interviews. Laal Singh Chaddha has collected ₹ 45 crores within 5 days, while Raksha Bandhan has garnered ₹ 34 crores in 5 days.
Talking Vikram Vedha, is a Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil neo-noir action thriller of the same name, which was also written and directed by Pushkar-Gayathri.
