Angelina Jolie recently went under the knife and got her breasts removed. It was a difficult decision for Angelina. But the actress went ahead as a preventative measure as doctors warned her that she carries the faulty gene Brca1.
Angelina had a double mastectomy some in February. Her fiancé Brad Pitt was there when she went ahead for the operation and calls her double mastectomy heroic. Angelina and Brad have six children, three biological and three adopted ones. Brad Pitt has released a press statement thanking Angelina for getting the surgery done for the sake of their children.
Angelina Jolie’s mother died in 2007 after battling ovarian cancer for almost a decade.
