SSR’s death case inquiry will now be taken over by the CBI.
The Supreme court has ruled against the petition of actress Rhea Chakraborty as she requested the transfer of investigation from Patna to Mumbai. The court declared that the Bihar Government’s competence can be trusted and were right in giving consent to CBI for probing in SSR’s Patna FIR.
Hrishikesh Roy who was on the single-judge bench of Justice was the one who pronounced the judgment.
