In the past we have seen many sports related movie and especially cricket but debutant director Zaid Ali Khan brings a story of two of athletes and their struggle to succeed in the cutthroat, debauched and mired world of Indian sports.
This intense personal journey is set in the larger, bureaucratic world of Indian sports. It illustrates why a country with a population of 1.2 billion people cannot produce medal-winning athletes. How sheer, raw talent gets wasted or destroyed by corrupt and power hungry sports administrators of our country. Khwaabb is the story of two such athletes and their struggle to succeed in the cutthroat, debauched and mired world of Indian sports.
Recently Salman Khan launched the music of the film Khwaabb and had all the praise for the makers of the movie. He further added that “I have played almost all kinds of sports. I have done swimming, played football. I even used to play cricket, and I strongly feel that sports should be encouraged in the nation. He also said that “When you watch Khwaabb, you realize that there are no facilities for training (for the budding sportspersons).
