After months of speculations, it seems actress Chitrangada Singh and golfer Jyoti Randhawa have finally got divorced. According to media reports, the couple had applied for a divorce back in 2013 at a Gurgaon court.
Their marriage hit a rough patch and there were rumours of the couple being separated for almost a year. Chitrangada initially denied the news and insisted they were still happily married. Sources claim trouble began when Chitrangada shifted base to Mumbai to pursue her career in films while Randhawa stayed back in Delhi. Chitrangada shuttled between the two cities to spend time with her son, five-year-old Zorawar and Jyoti. The couple who got married in 2001 were childhood friends.
Sources claim her rising career after her comeback to films is also a reason. Chitrangada has got the custody of her son.
