At this point, our country needs sufficient funds to fight the coronavirus pandemic. And Bollywood stars are doing their bit by donating some amount to the PMO funds. These donations will bring much relief to those struggling due to the crisis and the affected ones as well. So, here is the list of celebrities who have made donations till now:

  • Akshay Kumar

The Khiladi of Bollywood has contributed by donating whooping INR 25 crores. Akshay tweeted, “This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai.”

  • Salman Khan

Salman Khan has pledged to donate money to 25,000 daily wage workers.

the latest heartthrob of Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan has donated a generous amount of INR 1 crore to PMO cares fund.

  • Hrithik Roshan

The Superhero Krrish came to rescue India as he donated INR 20 Lakhs to Maharashtra Government. He also helped to create an N95 and FFP3 mask for BMC workers.

The fitness inspiration has donated INR 21 Lakhs to PMO care funds.

The person who makes all of laugh has contributed  INR 50 Lakh towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relief fund.

He tweeted: “It’s time to stand together with the ones who need us. Contributing Rs.50 lakhs to the PM relief fund towards the #fightagainstcorona. Request everyone to #stayhome #staysafe #jaihind #PMrelieffund @narendramodi,”.

  • Prabhas

The Baahubali fame has shown kindness by donating a huge amount of INR 4 crore for the help of coronavirus victims. According to the sources, the actor has donated 3 crores to the safety fund created by Prime Minister, while 50 lakhs to both Telangana CM’s Safety fund and Andhra Pradesh CM’s Safety fund.

  • Sachin Tendulkar

The cricket legend has also come forward in helping the country by donating INR 50 lakh for the relief fund created for Coronavirus victims.

  • Rajnikanth

The megastar has donated INR 50 Lakh to the daily wage workers of the South film industry.

He has donated INR 52 Lakhs to PMO care funds.

  • Hema Malini

The dream girl of Bollywood Hema Malini, who represents BJP MP from Mathura in the election, has released a whopping amount of INR 1 crore from the MPLADS fund.

  • Sunny Doel

Following her mother, actor-politician Sunny Deol also released an amount of 50 Lakhs Rupees from his MPLADS fund to help coronavirus victims.

Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has donated INR 1 crore to the PM relief fund.

He has contributed INR INR 20 Lakhs.

Celebrities like Richa Chadha, Pooja Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Riteish Deshmukh, Shruti Haasan, and others are encouraging fans to support daily wage workers.
