Every year when this festival starts people all across the globe get ready to watch the best of fashion and films together in the quaint picturesque Cannes. From the humble saree to this! Deepika Padukone has surely come a long way in her Cannes journey.
This year she is the first Bollywood diva to walk the red carpet and we are loving her. Her fashion and poise has blossomed over the years. For the red carpet Deepika stepped out in a jewel-toned maroon creation made by Marchesa Notte for the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival.
Deepika walked the carpet for the screening of French director Arnaud Desplechin’s Les Fantomes d’Ismael. Deepika who represented the global cosmetic giant L’Oreal Paris at the festival and mingled with the brand’s co-ambassadors Julianne Moore, Susan Sarandon and Elle Fanning.
In the daytime she was spotted in a beige number giving interviews and a red gown that was her second look of the day. Deepika is surely slaying Cannes and how!
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will also make an appearance on the red carpet later this week, as the brand ambassador for L’Oreal.
