Sajid Khan’s Humshakals starring Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor and Esha Gupta made the third highest opening day collection at the box office on Friday, earning Rs. 12.5 crore. The film raked in Rs 12.59 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.04 crore on Sunday, taking its total earning to Rs. 40.13 crore in three days.
The movie was highly criticised and got poor rating but still it managed to make the third highest opening day collection.
Writer Milap Zaveri , is happy with the film’s performance,”“#Humshakals is super steady on Saturday! No drop Despite the unprecedented negativity against it! Brilliant! Audiences chose to go for it!,” he tweeted.
Humshakals is made at a cost of 75cr including the P&A.
