Dharmendra & Hema Malini get married again on Wedding Anniversary

Hema Malini and Dharmendra marked their 44th wedding anniversary with what appeared to be a second marriage ceremony, according to reports. The veteran actress stirred speculation after sharing pictures of their intimate celebrations. In one photo, the couple was adorned with large garlands, with Hema dressed in a vibrant traditional saree and sindoor, while Dharmendra wore a peach-colored shirt. 

Another image captured Dharmendra planting a kiss on Hema’s cheek as she blushed. Their daughter Esha Deol also joined the festivities. Hema captioned the photos as “Photos from today at home,” while Esha shared one of the images with the caption, “That’s pretty much what I’m made of.”

Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s first meeting dates back to 1970 during the filming of “Tum Haseen Main Jawaan.” Their on-screen chemistry was adored by fans, but their decision to tie the knot faced significant opposition, including disapproval from Hema’s parents. Despite these challenges, the couple persevered, overcoming obstacles, and eventually exchanged vows in 1980. They are blessed with two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
